“The search is over, you were with me all the while”… A Google software engineer has been charged with allegedly using confidential Google search-trend data to place insider bets on Polymarket, generating over $1.2 million in profits, structuring transactions designed to obscure their origin.

Pay attention!!! Marc Rowan of Apollo arguing that private equity funds paid inflated valuations for enterprise software businesses in a pre-AI future and returns on those investments could be disastrous: “If credit is problematic, that means the equity is really problematic.”

“Not so fast, partner”… The SEC has delayed its proposed tokenized-stock innovation exemption after concerns over shareholder rights, ownership records, and third-party tokenized shares – it remains supportive of tokenization, but investor protection and market integrity concerns are pushing adoption toward a narrower, more compliance-focused path.
