AdTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – February 1st – 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion
- StackAdapt, developer of a programmatic advertising platform designed to deliver outcomes and campaign performance, received $235 million of development capital from Teachers’ Venture Growth, Intrepid Growth Partners, Round13 Capital and other investors.
Buyout/LBO
- Mile Marker, operator of a full service media agency intended to deliver data-driven tools for solving business challenges, acquired by PlusMedia, via its financial sponsor Lightview Capital, through an LBO.
Merger/Acquisition
- American-Republican, publisher of news and information based in Waterbury, Connecticut, acquired by Hearst Connecticut Media Group.
- Innovid, a software platform that provides ad serving, measurement and optimization creative services for the creation, delivery, and measurement of TV ads across connected TV, mobile TV and desktop TV environments to advertisers, publishers and media agencies, acquired by Flashtalking, a subsidiary of Mediaocean, for $525 million.
- ReachMail, developer of email marketing platform designed to create, optimize, send, and track email marketing campaigns, acquired by Reel Axis.
Later Stage VC
- Piano, developer of an audience management platform designed to understand and influence customer behavior by putting the power of insights and logic into the hands of their employees, raised $120 million of Series D venture funding through a combination of equity and debt.
- Influ2, developer of an person-based advertisement platform designed to help businesses engage with enterprise decision-makers, raised $3.3 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- ReachLabs, provider of marketing services intended to develop digital marketing strategies, raised venture funding from ENA Venture Capital.
- Prism AR, developer of a programmatic ad platform designed to create spatial ad inventory for augmented reality environments, raised venture funding from AJI Capital.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Joy Studios, provider of creative services intended for providing resources and platforms for collaboration, skill development, joined gBETA.

Co-founded Castle Placement in 2009, providing investment banking services and raising private equity/debt capital for early-stage and middle market companies across a wide range of industries including financial services/fintech, real estate, technology, business services, energy/real assets and consumer/retail. In 2007, created a platform providing advisory and capital formation services to financial institutions and private equity funds investing in distressed bank portfolios and community banks which was merged into Castle Placement*. From 1999 to 2007, at Merrill Lynch was co-head of the 50+ person global structured credit products investment banking, sales and syndicate and head of the U.S. alternative investment group raising capital for alternative investment funds in financial services and asset management. From 1991 to 1999, was at Credit Suisse First Boston as a senior trader on a principal transaction desk responsible for managing a proprietary position of credit sensitive commercial/residential real estate and asset-backed securities and head of CSFB’s new issue whole loan and agency CMO desk. Began his career in 1985 at Arthur Andersen where he managed their structured finance group consulting on ground breaking securitizations of residential mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, corporate loans and other financial assets. FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
