- Future Fields, biotechnology platform that produces high-value proteins through sustainable biomanufacturing using fruit flies, raised $8 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Business Development Bank of Canada, R72 Partners and Amplify Capital on June 17, 2025.
- NuCicer, nutritious chickpeas that meet the demand for protein intake for the global population, raised $13.76 million of Series A venture funding from Leaps by Bayer, Stray Dog Capital, and Kale United on June 30, 2025.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Barn Owl Technologies, automatic scouting tools for early pest detection in organic farms, joined Wistron Accelerator as a part of its accelerator program on June 18, 2025.
