  3. Fownes Brothers, leather manufacturing facilities that design and manufacture cold-weather fashion accessories, acquired by Centric Brands, via its financial sponsors Blackstone, HPS Investment Partners and Ares Management through, an LBO.
  4. Guess Inc, designs, markets, distributes and licenses lifestyle collections of contemporary apparel and accessories for men, women and children that reflect the American lifestyle and European fashion sensibilities, acquired by Authentic Brands Group, via its financial sponsors BlackRock Private Equity Partners, CVC Capital Partners, General Atlantic, HPS Investment Partners, Leonard Green & Partners, Lion Capital, Qatar Investment Authority, Temasek Holdings, Oaktree Capital Management, Jasper Ridge Partners, GIC Private, Brookfield Property Partners and BlackRock through a $1.26 billion public-to-private LBO.
  5. Kaka’ako Kasuals, Hawaiian-designed footwear that includes slippers, sandals and reef walkers for families and travelers., acquired by The Islander Group, via its financial sponsor Tradewind Capital Group, through an LBO.
  6. Storq, an online retail platform that retails maternity wear, acquired by Kindred Bravely, via its financial sponsor TZP Group, through an LBO.

Early Stage VC

  1. Syrn, a lingerie brand that offers a wide range of stylish and comfortable bras, panties and nightwear, raised venture funding from Coatue Management.

Angel 

  1. Naked Revival, an e-commerce platform that offers a variety of apparel products, raised $14,592 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
  2. Drift New England, an apparel brand focused on the automotive drifting scene that sells quality apparel, raised $36,000 of angel funding.
