- IPPOLITA, a jewelry and accessories brand that serves retailers and specialty boutiques, was acquired by MadaLuxe Group, via its financial sponsor Hilco Brands, through an LBO.
- Stance, socks that serve men, women, and kids, was acquired by Marquee Brands, via its financial sponsor Neuberger Berman, through an LBO.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Alissa Nicole Designs, handcrafted gemstone and beaded jewelry that provides stylish and meaningful accessories for everyday wear, joined Richmond Hill Small Business Enterprise Centre as part of its Summer Company program.
Angel (individual)
- Alchemize Fightwear, women-focused combat sports training apparel that supports practice and competition use, raised $300,000 of angel funding.
- Claude Préval, handmade products that offer sustainably sourced materials from France and Italy, raised $1.2 million of angel funding.
