- Omnitron Sensors, a developer of an automotive sensor platform designed to increase performance, reliability and reduce costs, raised $40 million in Series A1 venture funding in a deal led by Corriente Advisors. The funds will be used to fuel the expansion of Omnitron’s engineering and operations teams, accelerating the mass production of the company’s first product, a reliable, affordable microelectromechanical systems step-scanning mirror for multiple markets.
