1. Decibel Cannabis Company, a company engaged in the cannabis industry, specializing in the production, distribution, and sale of recreational cannabis products, received CAD 3.19 million of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate
2. Delta 9, wholesaler, and retailer of grow pods, was acquired by Nebula Group. This acquisition aligns perfectly with Nebula Group’s strategic vision to expand and innovate within the CEA realm.
3. Frozen Fields, manufacturer of hemp-based cannabis products based in Canton, North Carolina, was acquired by Highsman.
4. Leaf Trade, developer of a wholesale ordering platform designed to connect licensed cannabis vendors and dispensaries, was acquired by LeafLink.
5. Okay Cannabis, retailer of cannabis products designed for recreational use, was acquired by Nature’s Grace and Wellness.
Later Stage VC
6. Distru, developer of an inventory management platform designed to focus on solving supply chain problems for the cannabis industry, raised $6 million through a combination of debt, Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding from Global Founders Capital and Poseidon Asset Management.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
