- Channell Commercial, fiber optic solutions, thermoplastic pedestals, and grade-level vaults catering to the telecommunications industry, was acquired by Prysmian for an estimated $1.15 billion.
- BridgeNET Fiber, fiber broadband service provider headquartered in Statesville, North Carolina, was acquired by Ripple Fiber.
