Communications and Networking Telecom Capital Raises in the U.S. – October 16th-31st, 2024

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate
1. IPitomy Communications, provider of cloiud communication services catering to small and medium-sized business was acquired by Clarion Communications. With the acquisition, Clarion now has operation centers in Florida and Georgia and serves as a single-source, unified communications, and managed service provider.
2. Postbox, developer of an e-mail management application designed to simplify and arrange messages was acquired by eM Client. This acquisition enables eM Client to extend its innovative solutions to an even larger global audience, reinforcing its position as one of the most comprehensive email platforms available.
3. Antenna Research Associates, manufacturer of antennas and communication subsystems designed for military and commercial markets was acquired by OceanSound Partners through an LBO.
4. Text Request, developer of business texting software intended to manage two-way text conversations with organizational oversight and unity was acquired by Commify, via its financial sponsor ECI Partners, through an LBO. Through this acquisition, Commify intends to further its United States market expansion.
Later Stage VC
5. Vanu, developer of wireless infrastructures and base stations intended to provide network connectivity coverage raised $5.39 million of venture funding from undisclosed investors.
Early Stage VC
6. Nooks, developer of an artificial intelligence dialing and prospecting platform designed to host engaging and interactive workshops, classes, and conferences raised $42.75 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Kleiner Perkins.
7. RiPSIM Technologies, developer of an eSIM software designed for wireless service providers and 4G and 5G private network services raised $9.82 million of venture funding.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
8. Clerk Chat, developer of a communication software designed for reliable business text messaging raised $7 million of seed funding in a deal led by Race Capital. The funds will be used to improve its messaging capabilities and strengthen relationships with telecom providers.
