Data Center Capital Raises in the U.S. – February 1st – 15th, 2025

PIPE

    1. Tract, operator of a data center land acquisition and development company intended to help create responsible infrastructure, strategically located and in harmony with surrounding communities, received development capital from PSP Partners.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Triton DataCenter, operator of a data center intended to build the next-generation open-source cloud, was acquired by Parler.
    2. Specifx, operator of a data management firm intended to manage HVAC asset metadata, was acquired by XOi Technologies.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Flexential, provider of hybrid information technology infrastructure and data center services intended to offer secure digital infrastructure, was rolled into the continuation fund GI Partners Continuation Fund from TechCore Fund by GI Partners.
    2. Top Gun, provider of data center support services intended to deliver technical solutions for operational challenges, was acquired by Service Express, via its financial sponsor Warburg Pincus, through an LBO.

Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
