Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – June 16th – 30th, 2025

PIPE

  1. ReVolve Renewable Power Corp, develops utility-scale renewable energy projects that focus on wind, solar, and battery storage across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, received CAD 1.2 million of development capital.

Buyout/LBO

  1. 4Refuel, refueling services that cater to construction, transportation, marine, mining, rail, oil and gas industries, acquired by H.I.G. Capital through an estimated CAD 400 million LBO.
  2. ComTech Energy, on-site compressed natural gas refueling stations that solve alternative energy infrastructure challenges, acquired by Freedom CNG.
  3. Spartan Infrastructure, high-voltage transmission construction services that deliver challenging and complex projects safely and on schedule, acquired by SOLV Energy.

Later Stage VC

  1. 639 Solar, a cloud-based data center platform that delivers scalable, renewable energy infrastructure with continuous uptime, raised $10.4 million of venture funding from Mancora Ventures and other investors.
  2. Volexion, a graphene coating technology that supports lithium battery cathode materials, raised venture funding.
  3. Seed Round
    Nascent Materials, battery materials technology that produces the next generation of LFP and LMFP cathode materials, raised $2.3 million of seed funding in a deal led by SOSV.
