Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – May 16th – 31st, 2025

Buyout/LBO
- Geronimo Power, renewable electricity generation services intended to reduce carbon emissions, acquired by Brookfield Asset Management through a $1.735 billion LBO.
Corporate
- Sangha Renewables, integrated energy load-balancing infrastructure designed for renewable energy projects experiencing surplus generation or grid constraints. The company delivers co-located, high-efficiency data centers that operate during, received $14 million of financing.
- Western LNG, a liquefied natural gas export facility intended to serve the energy and infrastructure markets, received financing from TotalEnergies.
Joint Venture
- Joint Venture, turnkey geothermal energy services intended to support the development of lower-emission communities without compromising affordability, homeowner experience, or aesthetic design, formed as a joint venture between Diverso Energy and Mattamy Homes.
Later Stage VC
- One Power Company, develops, builds, owns, and operates on-site power solutions for large industrial customers outside the factory or facility’s walls, raised venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Reflect Orbital, solar light reflecting panels designed to provide reflected sunlight at night, raised $28.69 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Lux Capital.
- Heron Power, foundational technology designed to meet complex energy demands, raised $43.25 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Capricorn Investment Group.
