FoodTech Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – June 1st-30th, 2026

Buyout/LBO

    1. Fishbowl (Business/Productivity Software), restaurant marketing, and guest relationship management software that helps restaurant operators unify customer data, automate marketing activities, and build customer loyalty, was acquired by GoTab, via its financial sponsor ABDJ Ventures, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

    1. Orda (Business/Productivity Software), digital ordering platform that helps restaurants and retailers offer branded ordering and customer engagement channels, raised venture funding from DFS Lab.
    2. ClusterTruck, online food delivery platform that offers food at customers’ doorsteps, raised $425,521 of venture funding in the form of SAFE notes.
    3. Provi, B2B e-commerce platform that simplifies the ordering process for buyers, distributors, and suppliers, raised $16.57 million of venture funding from InvestBev and other investors.
    4. Wonder Group, online platform for food delivery and restaurant services for a new kind of home dining experience, raised venture funding from ARK Ventures.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Overpotential, electrochemical processing machine for modifying liquid flavor profiles, raised venture funding from Valor Equity Partners.
    2. Taist, on-demand personal chef app for arranging in-home meal preparation by local chefs, raised venture funding from GrowthX Capital.

Seed

    1. Zest Maps, dining discovery application that tracks visits and generate personalized recommendations, raised $1.8 million of seed funding.
