- Omnirev, AI-powered catering platform that helps restaurants grow corporate catering sales without increasing headcount, was acquired by Dlivrd.
- Dexai Robotics, customized robots that simplifies commercial kitchens and quick-serve restaurant operations, was acquired by Sony.
Buyout/LBO

- Olo, open Software as a Service platform for restaurants, was acquired by Thoma Bravo through a $1.74 billion public-to-private LBO. The transaction was supported by $600 million of debt financing.
Later Stage VC

- Cnsrv, commercial kitchen equipment for sustainable food preparation practices, raised venture funding from Burnt Island Ventures.
Seed

- LocalExpress, e-commerce management platform that solves the last-mile delivery problem, raised $6.20 million through a combination of Seed 6, Seed 6-B, and Seed 6-C funding in a deal led by OXZ Capital.
Accelerator/Incubator

- Backhouse (Commercial Services), foodservice equipment marketplace that secures the best deals from distributors, joined Techstars s part of the Fall 2025 accelerator program in Techstars Future of Food powered by Ecolab and received $200,000 in funding.
- Uvera, portable device that uses ultraviolet light technology to extend the shelf-life of fresh produce, joined Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab as a part of its EMEA 2025 Cohort and received $250,000 in funding.
