Infrastructure Capital Raises in the U.S. – August 19th-25th, 2024
The Infrastructure sector has seen decent activity this past week, with several companies securing substantial funding to drive innovation.

Here are the capital raises:
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate
- Energy Capital Partners, Summit, NJ, was acquired by Bridgepoint Group (LON: BPT) for $1.05 billion.
Later Stage VC
- Grafana Labs, New York, NY, raised $327.9 million to expand its performance monitoring platform for infrastructure data analysis. (Lead Investors: GIC, Lightspeed Venture Partners).
- Hermeus, Atlanta, GA, secured $59.18 million to advance its hypersonic aircraft technology for defense infrastructure. (Lead Investor: Canaan Partners).
- Ceres AI, Oakland, CA, raised an undisclosed amount of Series D venture funding in a deal led by REMUS Capital.
Early Stage VC
- Story Protocol, Bellevue, WA, raised $83 million to develop its blockchain protocol and web3 infrastructure for intellectual property management. (Lead Investor: Andreessen Horowitz).
Seed Round, Angel and Grant
- Trace Machina, Chicago, IL, raised $4.7 million of seed funding in a deal led by Wellington Access Ventures.
- GetChkd, Dallas, TX, joined The Catalyst Accelerator as a part of its Fall 2024 Cohort.
