- Assurely, an insurance management platform that create and distribute insurance products for changing industries, was acquired by Equal Parts.
- Ford Insurance Agency, which provides risk management and insurance brokerage services to protect both commercial and personal assets, was acquired by COVU.
Later Stage VC
-
- FIDx, a product-agnostic retirement platform that provides holistic systems to address investors’ changing needs, raised venture funding in a deal led by Prudential Financial.
- Inclined, a lending and advisory platform that helps families unlock liquidity from whole life insurance policies, raised $7.88 million of Series A-5 venture funding.
Early Stage VC

- Ledgebrook Insurance Agency, an insurance platform that modernize specialty insurance by leveraging technology for rapid, data-driven quoting and risk selection, raised $65 million of venture funding in a deal led by The Stephens Group.
Seed
-
- Adaptional, an AI-based agency management platform that automate the back office tasks for insurance brokerages with manual data and operations processes, raised $10 million of seed funding.
- Milly Books ,a digital platform that facilitate buying and selling books of business or slices of accounts and offers services that include the transaction of insurance policies within books of business, full or fractional, enabling insurance agents to get assistance to value, buy and sell policies with ease, raised $3.78 million through the combination of Seed funding from Markd, 101 Weston Labs and 2ndF.
- Modular Solutions, an insurance administrative software for insurers and brokers to configure and manage their entire operations seamlessly through a single software solution, raised seed funding in a deal led by Tailwind Ventures.

Former Head of Corporate Finance M&A Americas for the Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO Bank, based in New York. Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
