- Ynvisible Interactive, which designs and develops printed electronic components and offers electrochromic displays, product design services, prototyping and R&D for tailored applications, digital signage, and licensing, received CAD 2.53 million in development capital through a private placement.
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

- Memfault, a device reliability platform for firmware delivery, monitoring, and diagnostics to embedded systems, was acquired by Nordic Semiconductor.
Buyout/LBO

- Glassbeam, an analytics platform that make sense of complex machine data collected from connected medical devices, was acquired by PartsSource, via its financial sponsors Bain Capital and Ergo Partners, through an LBO.
Early Stage VC

- Onscreen (Computers, Parts, and Peripherals), a TV-based communication and engagement platform that connects older adults and their families, raised venture funding from TCA Venture Group.
Seed and Grant

- Ava, an AI-powered household concierge that take care of everyday tasks and special requests, raised pre-seed funding from Fabric Ventures.
- Rapidise, a cloud-based product engineering and electronics manufacturing platform that transforms ideas into market-ready hardware and AI-powered products, raised $5 million of seed funding from Napino Digital Solutions and Teksun.
- Ubicept, which develops image sensors that capture motion for advanced computer vision algorithms, raised $4.62 million in Seed-3 funding.
- Quantum Network Technologies, which develops computer networking products that build the underpinnings of the quantum internet, received $100,000 in grant funding from MassVentures.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
