Buyout/LBO
1. AppViewX, developer of a certificate lifecycle management and public key infrastructure platform designed to manage automation and orchestration of network services, was acquired by Haveli Investments through an LBO.
Later Stage VC
2. GoRout, developer of a wearable devices designed to provide coach-to-player communication solutions to football, baseball, and softball coaches of all levels, raised $1.52 million of venture funding.
3. Mapped, developer of an artificial intelligence-powered data infrastructure platform designed for the commercial and industrial Internet of Things, raised an estimated $18 million of Series A venture funding from NTT Docomo Ventures and other investors.
4. Pratexo, developer of an edge computing and distributed cloud platform designed to simplify and accelerate the design, provisioning, and management of the edge nodes and micro clouds required to host next-generation applications, raised a venture funding from ABB Ventures.
5. SOLTEC Health, developer of a smart wearable technology designed to analyze and dramatically improve sleep and reduce stress, raised $100,000 of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.
6. SwineTech, developer of a livestock management platform designed to reduce piglet deaths and increase overall herd health, raised $3.60 million of Series A-4 venture funding.
7. Tractian, developer of an asset performance management system designed for plants with tools for reliability, safety, and availability, raised $120 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Sapphire Ventures.
Accelerator/Incubator
8. Blip Energy, developer of a smart home category intended to provide an affordable, plug-and-play battery system, joined Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator as a part of its IN²’s 14th Cohort and received funding.
9. Prezerv, developer of three-dimensional mapping platform designed to improve the lifecycle management of civil infrastructure, joined Arch Grants and received funding in the form of a grant.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
