1. Boston Metal, global metal technology that commercializes molten oxide electrolysis for high-volume steel production, raised $75 million of venture funding from Tata Steel, Prelude Ventures, Engine Ventures and Climate Investment.
2. Electra, alternative steelmaking technology that stops carbon dioxide emissions, raised venture funding from Posco.
3. pH7 Technologies, economical and sustainable process that extracts platinum group metals (PGMs) from primary and secondary resources and waste materials, raised $39 million of Series B venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.

Early Stage VC

4. FAST Metals, metals recovery platform that extracts iron, aluminum, scandium, titanium, and rare earth elements, raised venture funding from rpv.
5. Magrathea, electrolytic technology that creates carbon-neutral magnesium metal from seawater and brines, raised $24 million through a combination of debt, Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding from Avila Ventures and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $54.43 million.

Seed Round

6. Canadian Energy Metals, critical metal resources that support the development of base metals and battery or storage metals, raised $7.23 million of seed funding from investors.
7. Radify Metals, metal production technology that extracts metals using a sustainable and scalable process, raised $3 million of pre-seed funding from Founders, Inc and Mana Ventures.
