Nanotech Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – January 1st – 31st, 2026

Early Stage VC

  1. SoFab Inks, a perovskite solar cell manufacturing platform that offers functionalized materials for perovskite solar cells, raised $5.90 million of venture funding from Keyhorse Capital and other.

Accelerator/Incubator

  1. Alchemy Nano, nanotechnology coatings that protect critical safety systems, joined Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic as part of its 2026 Cohort and received EUR 100,000 in funding.
  2. Photonect, packaging and interconnect systems that improve the speed, efficiency, and durability of chip connections, joined Rev: Ithaca Startup Works as a part of its Sixth Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator Cohort and received $10,000 in grant funding.
  3. Soarce, industrial nanomaterials that redefine the strength and cost-efficiency of manufactured composite parts, joined JEC Composites Startup Booster.

Grant

  1. Amphix Bio, a therapeutic peptide platform that drives regenerative medicine by restoring function lost to injury, disease, or aging, received $250,000 of grant funding from Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
  2. Ecoatex, bio-based materials technology that replaces fossil-derived polymers across industrial applications, received $80,000 of grant funding from BEAM Circular.
  3. Icarus Quantum, quantum interconnect technology that supports modular scaling of quantum computers, received $400,000 of grant funding from National Institute of Standards and Technology.
