Buyout/LBO
- FemtoInnovations, nanoscale investigation and fabrication technologies for industries including microelectronics and biomedical, was acquired by Tescan Group, via its financial sponsor The Carlyle Group.
Later Stage VC
- Alchemy Nano, nanotechnology coatings that protect critical safety systems, raised $6 million of venture funding from NameSilo Technologies, Pathfinder Asset Management, Pembroke Management, and other investors.
- Hopewell Therapeutics, novel biodegradable lipid nanoparticles and related technologies that deliver genomic medicines to patients, raised $2.5 million of venture funding from Checkmate Capital & other investors on September 16, 2025.
Grant
- SignaBlok, biotech company that develops therapeutics employing unique mechanisms of blocking cell receptor signaling in the context of various disease indications, received $150,000 of grant funding.
