PetTech/Pet Care Capital Raises in the U.S. – October 16th-31st, 2024

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

1.PetIQ, manufacturer and distributor of health and wellness products for dogs and cats was acquired by Bansk Group through a $1.5 billion public-to-private LBO.

2.BetterVet, operator of an online veterinary platform intended to enhance the veterinary healthcare experience was acquired by The Vets.

3.Dermatology & Allergy Clinic for Animals, provider of veterinary dermatology services acquired by Animal Dermatology Group, via its financial sponsor Percheron Capital, through an LBO.

4.Nashville Veterinary Dermatology, provider of veterinary dermatology services based in Nashville, Tennessee was acquired by Animal Dermatology Group, via its financial sponsor Percheron Capital, through an LBO.

5.Long Green Animal Dermatology, operator of a veterinary dermatology clinic based in Baldwin, Maryland was acquired by Animal Dermatology Group, via its financial sponsor Percheron Capital, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

5.Petfolk, provider of veterinary care services intended to bridge the communication gap between pet owners and their vets raised $36 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Deerfield Management.

6.Loyal, developer of veterinary pharmaceuticals designed to improve the health span and lifespan of dogs raised $22.18 million of venture funding.
