Management

Chandler Hoopes, Chief Executive Officer

Responsible for all day-today operations of the company, including originations, credit decisions, closings and loan servicing. Prior to joining Commonwealth in 2013, was a member of the Real Estate Finance team at Firstrust Bank in Philadelphia. Serves on the boards of charities that assist in job training for vulnerable adults and provides support for children who have lost a loved one. BA, Economics, Bucknell University.

Caroline Doyle, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for strategic planning and financial management, including all aspects of corporate accounting, regulatory and tax reporting, as well as accounting, payroll, audit and banking relationships. Previously, was CFO and COO of Newcleus LLC, a financial services firm that offers non-qualified compensation benefit solutions. Also held senior roles at St. Edmond’s Federal Savings Bank, GCF Bank and First Savings Bank of Perkasie PA. BA, Finance, Saint Joseph’s University.

Alex Benoit, Chief Lending Officer

Responsible for underwriting and closing new transactions. Heads the credit committee and manages the entire loan transaction process. Prior to joining the company in 2015, worked in financial advisory to businesses, state and local governments, school and other institutions. BS, Business Administration and Management, Bucknell University.

Kevin Kane, Chief Risk Officer

Responsible for overseeing the loan portfolio, including administration, management, strategy, and implementation of new projects and growth initiatives. Over 23 years of loan work-out experience. Previously, worked at a Philadelphia-based foreclosure firm resolving sophisticated disputes and litigation. BA, Political Science, Temple University. JD, Roger Williams School of Law.
