RFM is an aggregation-play of caregivers into one network with the goal of improving the primary caregivers and family’s mental health/resiliency, helping them power through their added life challenges while reducing the utilization of their medical benefits and ER visits, making employers and healthcare insurance payers happy.

Leadership’s objective is to drive the first one million members to the network at $5/member/month attaining $60M in revenues; an estimated $30M GP; which at 10X could value the business at $300M, whereby the company could consider an acquisition by a healthcare concern who would scale the business to millions of members and several billion in revenues given the scope of the issue in the U.S. market––75 million caregivers according to the CDC and NIH.

One Network

RFM  is  an  aggregation-play  of  caregivers  into  one  network  with  the  goal  of improving the primary caregivers and family’s mental health/resiliency, helping them power through their added life challenges, while reducing utilization of their medical benefits and ER visits, making employers and healthcare insurance payers happy

Led by the national bestselling author and single father of an adult special-needs child diagnosed with autism

Founder has re-purposed his 25-year track record in corporate America to improve the lives of millions of caregivers and families — this is his fourth start-up

Understanding the Increased Challenges of a Caregiver’s Life

No one really understands or cares, except other caregivers! This is the power of RFMs caregiver-centric solutions! Connecting a community of caregivers with a common set of material, that once their Personal Caregiver Roadmaps are created, they can share their roadmaps, stories, challenges, learnings, and inspirations with other caregivers who understand the journey, creating connections which help uplift one-another during challenging times

Opportunity

The  special  needs  issue  impacts  all  employers,  the  healthcare  sector,  state-based  HHS departments, and society, to the tune of $billions each year

The CDC and NIH estimates 35 million parents and related caregivers are raising underage/adult special-needs children2, with an additional 40 million boomers and Gen Xers caring for aging parents, a spouse, military veteran and/or disabled loved one3

75 million adults who are leading more challenging lives given their (unpaid) caregiving responsibilities to their loved ones4 – the largest segment of the population struggling with mental health-oriented challenges are caregivers2 (5-6 times more likely to struggle with higher levels of stress, anxiety and depression, which can/does lead to the breakup of marriages and families)5

Goal is to identify those caregivers about to experience a medical-oriented crisis earlier on, thereby reducing ER visits and overall cost of care for employers and healthcare plans saving tens of millions of dollars per employer

Company has developed caregiver-centric programs that can impact this issue, saving employers $tens of millions annually

Solution/Strategy

Caregiver-centric programs to improve the lives of caregivers and their families, helping employers proactively manage/mitigate/reduce healthcare spend while improving caregiver well-being, resiliency and productivity.

A. Save employee caregivers $5,000-10,000 (or more) every year via a proven process that can help   resolve highly stressful caregiver-related situations that arise every year, reducing stress and anxiety

B. Provide employee caregivers with a step-by-step process to create their own Personal Caregiver   Roadmap (their business plan) to help them better address and manage the various challenges in   their caregiving journey, relationships, and mental health

C. Provide employee caregivers with weekly caregiver meet-ups (virtually and in-person) offering a   supportive environment where they share stories, challenges, and learnings with other caregivers,   improving their mental health and resiliency

D. Save employers (and state HHS departments) $tens of millions by reducing pressure on healthcare   budgets and lost employee hours, reducing the overall cost of care via a more preventative approach

Specific Risks

  • Insufficient capital necessary to launch the business and offerings in the manner set forth in the strategic go-to- markets strategy

  • Having a large healthcare company attempt to lift the trademarked processes and programs of the company, prior to scaling the business, given the company’s experience with a large behavioral health concern that was very impressed with the company’s initial offering that they attempted some back-handed things, which were unsuccessful

  • Risk or threat of intellectual property theft by competitor

  • Storing and transmitting sensitive user information poses the risk of data breaches or cyberattacks Failure to adhere to privacy laws or industry regulations could lead to fines or legal actions

  • Any mishandling of user data or poor service could damage the network’s reputation and trust. Growing rapidly without a proper infrastructure can lead to performance issues

  • Facing strong competitors may hinder market growth or user acquisition

  • Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and carry a high degree of risk — including the loss of the entire investment
