- Bubbakoo’s Burritos, a restaurant chain that serves Mexican food, acquired by Thompson Street Capital Partners through an LBO.
Merger/Acquisition
- Cousin Jeffrey’s Honky Tonk, a bar that operates in Cincinnati, Ohio, acquired on June 16, 2025.
- Tortilla Flats Restaurant, a Mexican restaurant that offers food and beverage experiences, acquired on June 23, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- Momofuku, a restaurant chain that offers contemporary Asian-American cuisine, raised $26.75 million of venture funding.
- Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse, a restaurant and brewery that provides a casual gathering place for food and beer enthusiasts, raised $125,000 of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Bagels & Co., a cafe chain that serves freshly baked, Brooklyn-style bagels and a variety of house-made cream cheeses, raised $5 million of venture funding from Feenix Venture Partners and other investors.
- BraveHart Hospitality Group, fast-casual Hawaiian-themed restaurants that serve delicious meals, raised $382,000 of venture funding.
