Robotics and Drones Capital Raises in the U.S. – February 16th – 28th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Clockwork, developer of a robotic manicure machine designed to bring automation to the beauty services market, was acquired by 10Beauty.
    2. G5 Infrared, manufacturer of infrared camera systems and imaging services intended for defense, border security, and counter-drone markets, was acquired by Lightpath Technologies for $27 million.

Later Stage VC

    1. 4ag Robotics, developer of robotics and automation systems designed to help farmers in automating various processes, raised venture funding from Economic Development Canada.
    2. Apex.AI, developer of an autonomous scalable software designed to offer mobility systems for self-driving vehicles, raised venture funding from LG Electronics.
    3. Doroni, developer of a personal flying vehicle designed to improve how people work and live, raised an additional $30 million of venture funding from Innovation Wings Industries and other investors.
    4. Thoro, manufacturer of autonomous mobile robotics designed to bring autonomy to different verticals, raised $6.1 million of venture funding.
    5. Vantage Robotics, manufacturer of drones and UAVs intended to provide ariel supervision support to the customers, raised an estimated $159.6 million of venture funding in the form of convertible promissory notes from ideaForge.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Nexera Robotics, manufacturer of a robotic arm grasper designed for a wide range of applications, raised $4.5 million of venture funding from BDC Capital, Defined and other investors.
