- Guild Holdings, a growth-oriented mortgage company. It operates in two segments, was acquired by Bayview Asset Management through a $1.31 billion public-to-private LBO.
- Sterling Financial Group, financial advisory and investment management services that serve individuals, families, and small businesses, was acquired by Sequoia Financial Group through an LBO.
Early Stage VC
- 275 Funding, investment services that facilitate capital advances, raised $46.38 million of venture funding.
- Paperstack, a financial platform that provides working capital and business insights, raised $3.84 million of venture funding from Matchstick Ventures, Techstars and other.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Bree, a financial technology company that provides cash advances and budgeting tools to help Canadians achieve financial wellness, joined C100 as part of its growth program.
- Onza Finance, an AI-powered liquidity platform that helps skilled nursing facilities convert Medicare and Medicaid receivables into working capital, joined Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners and received grant funding.
Corporate
- Compeer Financial, a farm credit cooperative organization that enriches agriculture and rural America, received $300 million of financing from private investors.
