PIPE
- Wi2Wi, vertically-integrated technology that designs, manufactures and markets wireless connectivity solutions, navigation satellite system modules across the globe and frequency control devices, sold a 6.71% stake to an investor for $700,000 on July 28, 2025.
Merger/Acquisition
- Faro Technologies, technology platform that designs, develops, manufactures, markets and supports software-driven, three-dimensional measurement, imaging, and realization solutions for the 3D metrology, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and public safety analytics markets, was acquired by AMETEK for $920 million on July 21, 2025.
- FreightVerify, supply chain technology platform that offers real-time transportation visibility and business intelligence, was acquired by Overhaul on August 19, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- Firestorm, modular unmanned aerial platforms that democratizes air power through rapid, distributed manufacturing and mission-adaptable systems, raised $47 million of Series A venture funding through a combination of convertible debt and equity on July 16, 2025.
- Oxford Performance Materials, additive-manufacturing processes that deliver fully functional end-use products to the biomedical, aerospace and industrial markets, raised $355,000 of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity from investors on July 16, 2025.
- Carnegie Foundry, advanced robotics and artificial intelligence systems for autonomous operational and security purposes, raised $11.8 million of Series A venture funding from United States Steel, Oshkosh and other investors on August 7, 2025.
Early Stage VC
- Dirac, automated work instruction platform that improves mechanical design, raised $10.7 million of venture funding from Coatue Management, Siemens, Founders Fund, and The Council on August 25, 2025.
- xLight, advanced light sources for semiconductor manufacturing, raised $40 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Playground Global on July 22, 2025.
Seed Round
- AmPd Labs, suite of tools that enhances media workflows and span the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design enhancement to full-scale production, raised $2 million of Seed-2 funding from investors on August 14, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $33 million.
- Leo AI, generative artificial intelligence engineering design platform that turns ideas into mechanical product designs, raised $9.7 million through a combination of debt, and Seed funding in a deal led by Flint Capital on July 27, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $12 million.
