Top 10 Aerospace Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – July 1st – 31st, 2026

PIPE
- Star Navigation Systems Group, develops, markets and promotes in-flight Safety Monitoring System that transmits data from an aircraft to ground stations for the duration of a flight, received $3.16 million of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Aireon, space-based air traffic surveillance systems that serve the aviation industry, was acquired by Iridium Communications for $366.7 million.
- Astrobotic, space robotic technologies that make space accessible to the world, was acquired by Voyager for $300 million.
Later Stage VC
- K2 Space, aerospace hardware products for space architecture, raised $500 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by Kleiner Perkins and ICONIQ Capital.
- Venus Aerospace, hypersonic propulsion systems that enhances speed and efficiency in advanced flight systems, raised $91 million through a combination of Debt and Series B-1 and Series B-2 venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Juno Propulsion, a rotating detonation propulsion system that advances rocket engine performance, raised $1.4 million of venture funding in a deal led by SOSV.
- Singularity, low-cost air defense interceptor systems to counter mass-produced aerial threats at scale, raised $80 million of Series A venture funding
Seed Round
- Azora, optical ground station infrastructure that enables reliable spacecraft data transmission to Earth, raised $7.67 million through a combination of Debt, Seed and Seed-1 funding.
- Beyond Reach Labs, deployable solar arrays for orbital power generation, raised $10 million of seed funding.
- Extellis, synthetic aperture radar satellites that provide earth observation imagery, raised $6.8 million of seed funding.
