- Applied Energetics Inc, specializes in laser and photonics systems that focus on fiber-based ultrashort pulse laser technologies, received approximately $10.79 million of development capital.
- Joby Aviation Inc, a transportation company that develops an all-electric, vertical take-off and landing air taxi for commercial passenger service, received approximately $591.01 million of development capital through a private placement.
Merger/Acquisition
- Canyon Composites, advanced composite and metallic components that serve space, aerospace, defense and industrial markets, acquired by Advanced Cooling Technologies.
- InField Scientific, computational modelling of complex electromagnetic environments that offers a comprehensive analysis of a ship’s electromagnetic environment effects, acquired by Calian Group for CAD 13.2 million.
- KinetX Aerospace, aerospace systems that support mission design, navigation, and spacecraft flight dynamics, acquired by Intuitive Machines.
Later Stage VC
- Airbound, unmanned aerial vehicles that provide lightweight drones for last-mile delivery, raised $8.65 million of venture funding in a deal led by Lachy Groom.
- Apex, standardized satellite buses that accelerate access to space for commercial and government missions, raised $200 million through a combination of debt and Series D venture funding.
- Stoke Space, reusable rockets that make space access sustainable and scalable, raised $610 million of Series D venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.
- MapLarge, geospatial application technology that enables large-scale, mission-critical operations, raised venture funding from Crescent Cove Advisors.
Early Stage VC
- Firestorm, modular unmanned aerial platforms that democratize air power through distributed manufacturing and mission-adaptable systems, raised $49.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by New Enterprise Associates.
