Top 10 Aerospace Raises and Investors in the U.S. – January 1st – March 31st, 2026

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Axiom Space, an international commercial space station that hosts government astronauts, private companies, and individuals for research, manufacturing, space exploration system testing, and tourism, received $350 million of development capital from Type One Ventures, Qatar Investment Authority, 1789 Capital, 4iG and LuminArx Capital Management.

PIPE

  1. Merlin Labs, autonomous flight software for legacy and next-generation airborne systems, received an estimated $125 million of development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. ARKA Group, space technology platform that strengthens visionary aerospace and defense companies, was acquired by CACI International for $2.6 billion.
  2. ESAero, unmanned aerial systems and urban air mobility system for the aerospace industry, was acquired by AeroVironment for $200 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. JetZero, advanced aircraft that improves efficiency and operational versatility, raised $200 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by B Capital.
  2. Sierra Space, space transportation systems for commercial, Department of Defense, and national security organizations, raised $550 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by LuminArx Capital Management.
  3. Skyryse, flight automation operating system that simplifies aircraft control and enhances safety across various flight conditions, raised $300 million through a combination of Series C and Series C-1 venture funding in a deal led by Autopilot Fund.

Early Stage VC

  1. GridAero, an autonomous cargo logistics platform that offers rugged, long-range aircraft built for scale and resilience, raised $20 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Geodesic Capital and Bison Ventures.

Seed Round

  1. Lux Aeterna, reusable satellite platforms for space operations, raised $14.93 million of seed funding in a deal led by Konvoy Ventures.
  2. USCT, industrial platforms that strengthen critical materials and processes in U.S. aerospace and defense, raised 30 million of Series A venture funding.
