- GoodLeaf Community Farms, vertical farming technology that produces fresh leafy greens all year long, in a clean and safe environment, received $52 million of development capital from McCain Foods, Power Sustainable Lios, Farm Credit Canada.
- KERIDIS BioÉnergie, a renewable energy infrastructure that produces renewable natural, received a development capital from Fonds de solidarite FTQ.
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

- Nutri-Blend, wastewater treatment services that repurposed wastewater by-products for agricultural use, was acquired by Synagro Technologies, via its financial sponsor Goldman Sachs Asset Management, through an LBO.
- InData (IT Consulting and Outsourcing), IT strategy and consulting services that identifies and promote operational efficiencies for business leaders and IT executives, was acquired by The 20 MSP.
Later Stage VC

- Dalan, an insect health company that provides sustainable approaches to ensure a safe food supply, raised a Series 1 venture funding from Ag Startup Engine, Ponderosa Ventures and Good Growth Capital.
- Blue Mahoe Capital, impact investments that focuses on the Caribbean and invest across real estate, private credit, private equity and public equities, raised $200,000 of venture funding.
Early Stage VC

- High Degree Ag Machinery, steam-based soil disinfestation services that eradicates soilborne diseases and weeds in farms, raised a venture funding from Redbud VC.
- ThermoShade, cooling technology that helps cities and communities reduce exposure to extreme heat through clean and affordable outdoor temperature control, raised a venture funding from Dangerous Ventures and resist.vc.
Angel, Seed, and Grant

- Vizva AgroTech, automated hydroponic greenhouse systems that improves agriculture through vertical farming methods, joined Foresight Canada and LvlUp Ventures.
- Green Acres Milling, an agriculture farm management company that maximizes crop yields and improve soil health, raised $13.93 million of seed funding from Ag Ventures Alliance.
