Top 10 AgTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – October 16th-31st, 2024

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Meristem Crop Performance, provider of crop input technology intended to enhance agricultural productivity, received a development capital from Bridgepoint Group.

Later Stage VC

  1. Carbon Robotics, developer of a robotics technology designed to support weed elimination with advanced farming methods, raised $70 million through a combination of Series D and Series D-1 venture funding in a deal led by BOND Capital.
  2. Growers Edge, developer of an agricultural fintech platform designed to manage the financial risks associated with crop production, raised $10 million of venture funding.
  3. MyLand, operator of a soil health company intended to infuse life into soil and help return the farm to its most fertile state, raised $10 million of venture funding.
  4. Sironix Renewables, developer of plant-based ingredients designed for eco-friendly cleaning and personal care products, raised $3.00 million of Series A venture funding.
  5. Wyvern, operator of a space company intended to capture high-resolution images across many spectral bands, raised $6 million of venture funding in a deal led by Squadra Ventures.

Early Stage VC

  1. Agtonomy, developer of a hybrid autonomy and tele-assist platform intended to address the labor crisis gripping local farm and land maintenance operations, raised $32.8 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Autotech Ventures and Momenta Ventures.
  2. Amos Power, developer of fully autonomous electric tractors designed to reduce the farming burden on farmers, raised $1.13 million of venture funding.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

  1. Aigen, developer of a small edge-based robot designed to address both the planetary and chronic human health crises, joined Unreasonable Impact as a part of its Americas programme.
  2. Viable Gear, manufacturer of seaweed-based plastic alternatives intended for fishing, aquaculture, and agriculture use, raised $30,000 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
