- Entosystem, producer of insect proteins with added value intended to reduce food waste for a sustainable agri-food sector, raised $58 million of venture funding in a deal led by Sanimax, Idealist Capital and Fondaction.

Plantible, producer of sustainable plant-based protein intended to revolutionize the food industry, raised $30 million of Series B venture funding from Pulse Fund.

Ascribe, developer of crop protection products designed to protect crops from Rhizoctonia, raised $2.15 million of venture funding.

EMGenisys, developer of a proprietary software platform designed to improve animal production and promote sustainability, raised $521,435 of venture funding.

Guardian Agriculture, developer of autonomous lithium-battery-powered electric vertical takeoff and landing systems designed for sustainable farming on a commercial scale, raised $10.74 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Oaken, developer of a digital relationship, lease, and land management software designed to manage agribusinesses and their trusted advisors, raised $700,000 of Series 1 venture funding from Grit Road Partners, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $8 million.

AcreShield, provider of seed prescription services designed to enhance seed selection for farmers, raised an estimated $2.5 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Vertical Ventures.

FruitScout, operator of a crop load management platform intended to automate farming processes, raised $3.8 million of venture funding.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
- Smart Agri Labs, developer of crowdsourced data analytics platform designed to improve the sustainability and profitability of small farms globally, company joined Alchemist Accelerator as a part of on Inaugural Cohort of Alchemist Japan program and received $25,000 in funding, putting company’s pre-money valuation at $475,000.
- Cirsium Biosciences, operator of a research and development biotechnology company intended for the production of gene therapies, received $61 million of grant funding from ARPA-H.
