PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Magic Molecule, all-over healing spray that treats a variety of common skin ailments, received development capital from NexPhase Capital.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Amala, skincare beauty brand that provides products with naturally fortified ingredients, was acquired by Fundamental Brands.
    2. Rhode, personal care products that offer skincare essentials, was acquired by E.L.F. Beauty for $800 million.
    3. Touchland, sensorial self-care essentials that elevate everyday moments with delight and joy, was acquired by Church & Dwight for $700 million.
    4. Nice-Pak Products, health and wellness wipes that cleans, disinfects, and supports healthful living, was acquired by Vi-Jon.

Early Stage VC 

    1. EDJY, nail cutters for cleaner cuts and smoother nails, raised $551,000 of venture funding.
    2. Uni Refill System, body care products that offers quality and skin-safe products without damaging the environment, raised venture funding from BOLD and Break Trail Ventures.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Naked Revival, e-commerce platform that provides a variety of apparel products, raised $607,500 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
    2. Slate, oral care products that cleans the entire space between teeth properly, raised $1.5 million of Seed-2 funding.
    3. SoulDeo, luxury natural deodorant and body care products that delivers spa-like results and promote clean beauty practice using natural alternatives, received $40,000 of grant funding from Texas Department of Agriculture as part of its Go Texan Marketing Grant.
