- Lexitell Life Sciences, artificial intelligence executive support technology that assists senior life sciences executives with decision-making and operational tasks, received development capital from Polar Apex.
- Soshianest Enterprise Miner, AI-powered supply chain analysis software for the maritime industry, received development capital from JTA International Investment Holding.
Merger/Acquisition
- Common Sense Machines, artificial intelligence-based simulation platform that transforms photos and videos into three-dimensional assets, was acquired by Alphabet.
- Hexus, AI-driven platform that optimizes and automates business operations, was acquired by Harvey AI.
Later Stage VC
- 28bio, brain-on-a-chip platform that captures neurological processes in the brain and nervous system, raised $6.53 million of Series A3 venture funding.
- Alpaca, modern brokerage platform that accesses financial markets with a developer-friendly application programming interface, raised $150 million through a combination of Series D and Series D-1 venture funding in a deal led by Drive Capital, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $1 billion.
Early Stage VC
- GIGABLUE, digital platform that manages and optimizes distributed energy resources for commercial and industrial applications, raised $20 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Planet Ocean Fund.
- Prime Intellect, decentralized Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for commoditizing intelligence, raised $64.94 million of venture funding in a deal led by Founders Fund.
Seed Round
- Adapt.com, AI-powered business computer platform that provides companies with a horizontal system of intelligence that centralizes data and automates workflows across all business tools, raised $10 million of seed funding in a deal led by Activant Capital and Headline.
- Flashlight Learning, language development platform that helps multilingual students succeed, raised $2.27 million of Seed-3 funding from investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $23.73 million.
