- City View Green, a vertically integrated cannabis company that produces medicinal products and recreational cannabis products for the Adult-Use market, received CAD 325,000 of development capital.
- Enveric Biosciences, neuroplastogenic small-molecule therapeutics for the treatment of depression, anxiety, addiction, and other psychiatric disorders, received $3.01 million of development capital.
- Pinetown Ventures, medical and recreational cannabinoid extracts and oils for nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals, received CAD 165,950 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- 420 IT Solutions, business consulting services that cater to the cannabis industry, was acquired by SHF Holdings.
- Fluent Cannabis, cannabis products based in Pennsylvania, was acquired by HIVE Holdings for $12.5 million.
- Maricann, produces marijuana for the medical and recreational cannabis markets, was acquired by Sensi Brands.
Corporate
- Hash Rx, offers solventless extraction and toll-processing services, and produces premium hash, live rosin, vape cartridges, and full-melt hash products, sold a 40% stake to GrowthStalk.
Later Stage VC
- Sweet Leaf Madison Capital, tailored financing services for the cannabis industry, raised $1.10 million of venture funding.
- Zèle, cannabis beverage company that crafts soda flavours with no bitter aftertaste, raised $7.12 million of venture funding through a combination of convertible debt and equity.
Seed Round
- A-Synaptic, transdermal drug-delivery technology for prescription treatments composed of cannabinoids and herbal extracts, addressing orphan drug-status medical conditions, raised $533,100 of seed funding.
