PE Growth/Expansion
- Carbon Direct, carbon management platform that helps organizations measure, reduce, and remove carbon emissions, received development capital from Saltwater Capital.
- EnviroSafe Demil, clean and safe disposal services for military and industrial explosives and contaminated waste, received development capital from Banyan Growth Partners.
Merger/Acquisition
- Carbon Alpha, carbon storage services that serve CO2-emitting industries, was acquired by Svante.
- Eion, geoscience and agronomic research platform that offers permanent carbon removal procedures at scale, with scientific verification, was acquired by Terradot.
Later Stage VC
- Elysia Bio, climate technology products that reduce methane emissions from livestock, raised $464,875 of venture funding.
- HummingbirdEV, electric vehicle technology that provides zero-emission systems for medium- and heavy-duty automobiles, raised an estimated $15 million of venture funding through a combination of equity and convertible debt from LvlUp Ventures.
Early Stage VC
- Fieldston Power, solar and battery storage devices that provide sustainable power solutions for urban areas, raised $28 million of venture funding from investors.
- Inertia, laser-based fusion energy systems that enable grid-scale clean power generation through mass-manufactured fusion fuel and advanced laser technology, raised $450 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
Seed Round
- MacroCycle, recycling technology that turns polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyester-fiber waste into virgin-grade plastics and textiles, raised $3 million of seed funding from Volta Circle and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $14.44 million.
- RevaTerra, AI-Powered bioenergy platform that transforms secondary biomass into clean fuel, raised $715,788 of seed funding in the form of SAFE notes from investors.
