Top 10 CleanTech/Clean Energy Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – November 16th to December 31st, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion
- BioFiltro, water filtration services that filter industrial and municipal wastewater, received $35 million of development capital from Jordanelle Capital.
- Weathermatic, irrigation equipment that addresses labor shortages, rising water costs, and sustainability goals, received development capital from Rock Hill Capital and True West Capital Partners.
Merger/Acquisition
- Hexas Biomass, sustainable, high-yielding biomass crop that replaces wood and fossil fuels, was acquired by Bioleum for $6.5 million.
- Microtek Laboratories, microcapsules that store and release thermal energy for energy efficiency in buildings, textiles, and electronics cooling, was acquired by Alexium International Group for $2.17 million.
Later Stage VC
- Fervo Energy, geothermal power projects that leverage innovation in geoscience to accelerate the clean energy transition, raised $462 million of Series E venture funding in a deal led by B Capital Group.
- Hago Energetics, clean hydrogen production technology that reduces greenhouse gas emissions, raised venture funding from Aerion Capital.
Early Stage VC
- Azzera, carbon offsetting and compliance platform that helps clients measure their carbon footprint, raised $800,000 of venture funding from Jetex.
- pH7 Technologies, economical and sustainable process that extracts platinum group metals from primary and secondary resources and waste materials, closed on $25.6 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by F-Prime Capital.
Seed Round
- 9Zero, climate protection community platform that creates interconnected mini-ecosystems, raised $1.08 million of seed funding through a combination of SAFE and equity from investors.
- Perca, wastewater management that optimizes wastewater treatment through the power of nature, raised $168,000 of seed funding from investors.
