- ReVolve Renewable Power, energy company that develops, owns, and operates renewable energy projects across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, received CAD 3.04 million of development capital from investors.
Merger/Acquisition
- Ambia Solar, solar panel systems for residential customers, was acquired by SunPower, for $37.5 million.
- Pachama, remote sensing platform that verifies and monitors carbon capture by forests to help conservation and reforestation, was acquired by Carbon Direct.
Later Stage VC
- Greenbutts, biodegradable filter products that solve the problem of cigarette butt pollution, raised $710,254 of venture funding from investors.
- Moment Energy, sustainable energy storage systems that serve peak demand in on-grid areas and help off-grid customers reduce diesel consumption and transition to renewables, raised venture funding from Wind Ventures.
- Sawa Energy, solar electricity services that maximize energy savings and productivity, raised EUR 2.5 million of venture funding from EDFI Management Company.
Early Stage VC
- Valar Atomics, atomic energy company that creates abundant and cheap gas out of thin air using atomic energy, raised $130 million of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.
- ZrO Waste Group, onsite waste-to-energy systems for the transformation of diverse waste streams into usable resources, raised venture funding from Impact Foundation.
Seed Round
- Revo Zero, revolutionary technology that cuts gasoline dependence, raised $1.8 million of seed funding from Accel and other investors.
- Witching Hour, wildfire prevention technology platform that minimizes ignition risks and strengthen grid resilience for electric utilities, raised pre-seed funding from Climate Capital.
