PIPE
- Hypercharge Networks Corp, an electric vehicle supply equipment company that provides turnkey electric vehicle charging solutions, received CAD 1.89 million of development capital.
- Stardust Solar Energy Inc, a franchisor of renewable energy installation services, including solar panels, energy storage systems, and electric vehicle supply equipment, received an estimated CAD 426,250 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Holocene Climate Corporation, developer of carbon removal technology designed to use organic chemistry to remove carbon dioxide from the air, acquired by Occidental Petroleum.
- WaterSurplus, developer of water treatment systems designed for sustainable fluid processing and contaminant removal purposes, acquired by Hawkins.
Later Stage VC
- JetZero, developer of an advanced aircraft designed to improve efficiency and operational versatility, raised venture funding from United Airlines Ventures.
- mPower Technology, developer of semiconductor active miniature solar cells designed to provide reliable, cost-effective space transportation, raised $21.13 million through a combination of Series B and Series B1 venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Great Northern Salmon, operator of a land-based recirculating aquaculture system designed for farming Atlantic salmon with a focus on fish welfare, raised venture funding from Eyvi.
- The Nuclear Company, operator of a nuclear development company intended to construct a series of nuclear power plants across America, raised an estimated $53 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Eclipse Ventures.
Seed Round
- OnePlanet Solar Recycling, developer of a solar panel recycling technology designed to provide sustainable alternatives for the renewable energy industry, raised $7 million of seed funding in a deal led by Khasma Capital.
- Reusables, developer of a container-sharing platform designed for circular systems to solve the waste problem created in restaurants, cafes, and grocery take-outs, raised $2.6 million of seed funding in a deal led by StandUp Ventures and Amplify Capital.
