Top 10 CleanTech/Clean Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – December 1st-15th, 2024

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. OhmEV, provider of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) services intended to enable unprecedented fidelity of EVSE networks, received development capital from Rock Gate Partners.
    2. Radiant, manufacturer of a portable nuclear microreactor technology designed to offer a climate-friendly alternative to diesel generators, received development capital from Capital7.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Gravity Oilfield Services, operator of water management and disposal solutions catering to the Midland Basin in Texas and the Williston Basin in North Dakota, was acquired by Delek Logistics Partners for $285 million.
    2. Solar Grids, developer of solar panels and energy services, was acquired by Stardust Solar Technologies.

Later Stage VC

    1. FreshAir Sensor, developer of novel sensors designed to detect hazardous airborne chemicals, raised $3.74 million of venture funding.
    2. Noon Energy, developer of rechargeable battery designed to turn intermittent renewable electricity into on-demand power, raised venture funding from Elemental Impact.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Cloud Water Filters, operator of a water filtration system intended to create a network for water quality analysis, raised $2.85 million of venture funding through a combination of equity and convertible debt.
    2. LIS Technologies, developer of a patented advanced laser technology intended to selectively excite the molecules of desired isotopomers to separate them from other isotopomers, raised $22 million of Series A venture funding from Nano Nuclear Energy, Innovating Capital, and Minetta Brook Capital.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Brightpave Markers, developer of a solar-powered, snowplowable LED roadway safety device designed to reduce accidents due to nighttime lane departures, raised $700,000 of seed funding.
    2. Canadian Energy Metals, developer of critical metals in the mining sector intended to facilitate the exploration and development of essential resources, raised $5.19 million of seed funding.
