Top 10 CleanTech/Clean Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – June 16th – 30th, 2025

PIPE

  1. CoTec Holdings Corp, focuses on investments in disruptive and scalable technology in the mineral extraction industry and acquires assets that apply the technology, received CAD 10 million of development capital.
  2. Ecolomondo Corp, a cleantech company that deploys TDP turnkey facilities using its proprietary Thermal Decomposition Process to convert hydrocarbon waste into marketable commodity end-products, received CAD 500,000.13 of development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Alaffia, ethical personal care products that alleviate poverty and encourage gender equality in West Africa through fair trade, acquired by Ayeya.
  2. EverWorx, managed print services that provide printer and copier rentals, maintenance and repairs, and software solutions, acquired on June 25, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. Future Fields, a biotechnology platform that produces high-value proteins through sustainable biomanufacturing using fruit flies, raised $8 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Business Development Bank of Canada, R72 Partners and Amplify Capital.
  2. Insight M, novel aerial monitoring technology that detects methane leaks, raised $30 million of Series E venture funding in a deal led by Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Early Stage VC

  1. Fiber Global, a climate technology company that advances building materials, raised $20 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by DBL Partners.
  2. PlugOp, electric vehicle charging stations that serve shared parking settings, raised $170,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.

Seed Round

  1. Brightpave Markers, a solar-powered, snowplowable LED roadway safety device that reduces accidents due to nighttime lane departures, raised $50,442 of seed funding in the form of convertible debt and promissory notes.
  2. Lumbra, lighting and electrical systems that reduce the community’s carbon footprint, raised $3 million of seed funding in a deal led by Costanoa Ventures.
