Top 10 CleanTech/Clean Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – June 1st – 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. ReElement Technologies, an Indiana corporation company, received $150 million of development capital from Novare.
  2. TemperPack, packaging products intended to replace single-use plastics and products, received development capital from Aliment Capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Danimer Scientific, creates more sustainable, more natural ways to make plastic products sold under the proprietary Nodax brand name, acquired by Teknor Apex.
  2. Equitable Earth, a voluntary carbon market platform intended to prioritize forest communities, acquired by Ecosystem Restoration Standard.

Later Stage VC

  1. Bollinger Motors, commercial electric trucks and chassis cabs intended to reduce the environmental impact of vehicles, raised venture funding from Mullen Automotive.
  2. First American Nuclear, advanced nuclear energy technologies focused on innovation, engineering, and deployment, raised venture funding from Foundt Capital.

Early Stage VC

  1. Five Star Clean Fuels, a distributed gasoline production facility intended to source natural gas and biomass, raised venture funding from Aprium LLC, Global Cleantech Capital and Virtu Capital Partners.
  2. Skyrenu, direct air carbon capture technology designed for permanent greenhouse gas removal and storage, raised venture funding in a deal led by Investissement Québec.

Seed Round

  1. Edison Motors, a clean technology company intended to serve sectors that require heavy-duty vocational vehicles, raised $2.05 million of seed funding.
  2. Recharged, a data-driven electric vehicle recharging and resale platform intended to simplify EV ownership, raised $4.95 million of seed funding through a combination of debt and equity in a deal led by Gutter Capital.
