Top 10 CleanTech/Clean Energy Capital Raises in the U.S. – May 1st – 15th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition

  1. GridSwitch, provider of energy asset management services, intended to focus on microgrid energy asset management, acquired by Floral Energy.
  2. Teleos Ag Solutions, distributor of soil treatment products designed for agricultural pest management purposes, acquired by Trical for $121 million.
  3. Town & Country Sanitation, operator of a garbage handling and recycling company intended to serve the commercial and residential sectors, acquired by Republic Services.

Later Stage VC

  1. Verdox, developer of an electric carbon capture and removal technology designed to focus on reversing climate change, raised venture funding in May 2025.
  2. Lefebvre Industri-AL, provider of aluminum recycling services, intended to help with the management of alloying elements, raised CAD 7.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by Fondaction and Circular Innovation Fund.

Early Stage VC

  1. Nova Clean Energy, operator of a renewable energy development company intended to develop and construct utility-scale projects, raised venture funding from TransAlta and Bluestar Energy Capital.
  2. Little Feet Packaging, manufacturer of a climate-friendly packaging system intended to replace plastic bubble wrap, raised venture funding from Central Coast Ventures.
  3. JustAir, developer of an air quality monitoring platform designed to create a healthy breathing environment, raised venture funding from Michigan Rise.

Seed Round

  1. Atlas Data Storage, developer of a data storage company designed for synthetic deoxyribonucleic acid for high-density and durable storage, raised $155 million of Seed funding from ARCH Venture Partners, Deerfield Management and Tao Capital Partners.
  2. CNaught, operator of a carbon credit marketplace intended to help companies offset their carbon footprint, raised $4.5 million of Seed funding in a deal led by Bow Capital.
