PE Growth/Expansion
- OCI Division, custom-built drilling components for the infrastructure, oil and gas, environment and construction industries, received $16.6 million of development capital from The Gladstone Companies.
PIPE
- Dragnfly, a company that engages in the provision of engineering services and the manufacture of commercial unmanned vehicle systems and software, received $25 million of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Control Sales, industrial measurement and control equipment that serves pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical, water and wastewater, food and beverage, utilities, and environmental industries, was acquired by Miller Energy.
Buyout/LBO
- Electrical Components International, wire harness for consumer appliances and specialty-industrial applications, was acquired by Rosebank Industries through a $1.9 billion LBO.
- LayerZero Power Systems, power distribution and quality monitoring products that cater to the information technology, communications, and financial sectors, was acquired by Advent International through a $1 billion LBO.
Corporate
- Lovingly Made Ingredients, plant-based textured proteins for preparing a wide range of vegan delicacies, received CAD 99,933 of financing from The Canadian Food Innovation Network.
Later Stage VC
- Emporia, a smart home energy management device that makes houses energy efficient, raised venture funding from Siemens.
Early Stage VC
- Biosensor Tech, biosensors that monitor pressure, oxygen, and temperature, raised venture funding from Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Plug-In Promotions, tabletop charging system that keeps customers engaged and connected at hospitality venues, graduated Vantage Ventures as a part of its Spring Cohort and received $110,000 in funding.
Grant
- Enzinc, batteries that provide a cleaner and safer energy source for various applications, received $1.62 million of grant funding from California Energy Commission.
