PE Growth/Expansion
- Global Power Technologies, power generating equipment that encompasses the industry’s cleanest emitting and reliable remote power generation options, and utilizes a range of clean fuel sources, received development capital from Longbow Capital.
- Seegrid, autonomous mobile robots that serve clients in the manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and material handling sectors, received $25 million of development capital from G2 Venture Partners and other investors.
PIPE
- Applied Energetics, fiber-based ultrashort pulse (USP) laser technologies for integration and deployment across various potential defense platforms, received $10.79 million of development capital through a private placement.
- Laser Photonics, industrial photonics-based products and laser cleaning technologies for the sandblasting and abrasives blasting markets, received $4 million of development capital through a private placement.
Merger/Acquisition
- Simmonds Precision Products, fuel and proximity sensing and structural health monitoring solutions for the aerospace and defense end markets, was acquired by TransDigm Group for approximately $765 million.
- Specialty Products and Insulation, mechanical insulation and complementary products for thermal, acoustic, fire protection, and refractory applications, was acquired by TopBuild for $1 billion.
Corporate
- Hoverfly Technologies, multi-rotor unmanned aerial robots that perform varied filming and surveillance tasks, received $20 million of financing from KRM and Leonardo DRS.
Later Stage VC
- Stoke Space, reusable rockets that make space access sustainable and scalable, raised $610 million of Series D venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.
Early Stage VC
- OK Stone Engineering, next-generation engineered stones that address industry challenges with innovative technology and eco-conscious practices, raised $5.17 million of venture funding.
Seed Round
- Aventra, modular guidance kits that convert unguided munitions into precision deep-strike weapons, raised $3 million of seed funding in a deal led by Lavrock Ventures.
