Top 10 Commercial Products Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – September 16th – 30th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Curtis, industrial controllers and integrated systems that optimize the performance of electric vehicles, was acquired by Parker-Hannifin for $1 billion.
  2. Hydra-Stop, water control valves and systems that serve municipalities and contractors around the world, was acquired by Pentair for $290 million.
  3. OEC Business Interiors, office and workplace furniture that caters to businesses and institutions across north-central Florida, was acquired by Storr Office Environments.

Later Stage VC

  1. Steric Systems, wine processing units that rescue, modify, and improve wine and spirits, raised $6.78 million of venture funding.
  2. TeraWatt Technology, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that combine energy and power density with safety, raised an estimated $96.9 million through a combination of Series C and Series C-1 venture funding in a deal led by JIC Venture Growth Investments.

Early Stage VC

  1. Plantd, building materials for sustainable and carbon-negative construction and homebuilding, raised $22 million of venture funding.
  2. TetherIA, robotic manipulation hardware that enables dexterous hand functions in embodied AI systems, raised venture funding in a deal led by MPCi.
  3. WAVR Technologies, atmospheric water harvesting systems that address the problems of water-vulnerable communities and major ESG challenges for companies, raised $4 million of venture funding in a deal led by Desert Forge Ventures.

Seed Round

  1. Tenex, polymer-based floor protection products for residential, commercial, and industrial use, raised $1.43 million of seed funding.
  2. XL Batteries, batteries that reduce waste within the existing energy infrastructure and unlock the potential of renewables for a sustainable future, raised $22.67 million of seed funding from SIP Global Partners, Measured Ventures, and Sandy Spring Climate Partners.
