2. 2. Nova Lifestyle, a designer and lifestyle furniture company that distributes and retails contemporary styled residential and commercial furniture, received approximately $9.00 million of development capital through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

3. 3. Attollo Engineering, infrared systems for imaging and laser detection systems serving defense, aerospace, and commercial sectors, was acquired by Safran Defense & Space.

4. 4. Ontario Natural Food Company, organic and natural food, household, and wellness products that serves retailers and brands, was acquired by Purity Life Health Products, via its financial sponsor Banyan Capital Partners, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

5. 5. Black Dog LED, LED lights and technologies that is for commercial, greenhouse, research and indoor growing, raised a funding from Capital Q Ventures.
   6. Eigen Innovations, an artificial intelligence-based Internet of Things system that overcomes challenges related to deploying and managing quality inspection, raised CAD 2 million of Series A3 venture funding from BDC Capital, TLT East Ventures, and New Brunswick Innovation Foundation.

Early Stage VC

7. 7. Seawright, an artificial intelligence-driven micro-foundries that makes critical maritime components and subsystems, raised a venture funding from Forum Ventures.
   8. Fitters Glass, currently operating in Stealth mode, raised $12.11 million of venture funding.

Seed 

9. 9. Apollo Atomics, a nuclear technology designed to provide sustainable power, raised of pre-seed funding from Genesis Fund.

10. 10. Tiberius Aerospace, weapon systems that serves the UK, US, and allied defence markets, raised $4.5 million of seed funding from Blacklake Group, Firedrop VC and Beaten Zone Venture Partners on September 9, 2025.
