Top 10 Communications and Networking Telecom Capital Raises in the U.S. – March 1st-15th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Skycom Mobile, operator of a mobile telecom intended to serve a nationwide mobile network, was acquired by Quest Oil. This acquisition marks a shift from the oil industry to the mobile telecommunications sector of Quest Oil.
    2. Theatro, developer of communication and digital workflow software designed to enhance communication, collaboration, and operations for frontline workers, was acquired by Motorola Solutions.

Buyout/LBO

    1. LogicomUSA, provider of telecommunication services intended to empower broadband providers and electric cooperatives nationwide, was acquired by John Staurulakis, via its financial sponsors Pantheon, Patria Capital Partners and Stone-Goff Partners, through an LBO.
    2. Shared Tower, developer of essential telecommunications infrastructure intended to bolster nationwide connectivity, was acquired by Northleaf Capital Partners through an LBO.
    3. Source, provider of mobile wireless services intended for retail, healthcare, education, and government sectors, was acquired by Industrial Networking Solutions, via its financial sponsors CIVC Partners, through an LBO.
    4. MtnMax, provider of high-speed fiber connectivity based in Kalispell, Montana, was acquired by Vero Networks, via its financial sponsors Delta-v Capital and Hamilton Lane, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

    1. BombBomb, developer of a video communication platform designed to simplify and optimize professional and business communication, raised $2.43 million of venture funding.
    2. Bigleaf Networks, provider of cloud-first intelligent networking services intended to serve customers with internet and network connectivity problems, raised $10 million of Series B3 venture funding from Updata Partners, Oregon Venture Fund, and Eastward Capital Partners.
    3. VectorMax, provider of live linear broadcast and video-on-demand content services intended for an effective pathway to internet-enabled devices and AT&T, raised $891,000 of venture funding.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Zocks, developer of a communication management platform designed to capture industry-specific insights from client conversations, raised $13.8 million through a combination of Series A and Series A-1 venture funding in a deal led by Motive Partners.
